Membership Information

• The Suncoast Stonewall Democrats is recognized as a chartered member of the Florida GLBT Democratic Caucus and the National Stonewall Democrats.  Thus, voting members must be registered as a Democrat in Sarasota or Manatee County.   If you wish to register to vote or change your party affiliation, please click the Register to Vote link, complete the form and send it to the Supervisor of Elections office in the county of your residence.
   
• Three levels of Membership are available:
  Voting Membership (Individual or Couples*): registered Florida Democrats that live in Sarasota or Manatee county and support the objectives of this organization.
  
  Non-Voting Associate Membership: registered Florida Democrats that live outside of Sarasota or Manatee county and support the objectives of this organization.
  
  Full-time Students: registered Florida Democrats that are full-time students and support the objectives of this organization. Voting members must be registered in Sarasota or Manatee County.
   
• Per Federal Election Commission regulations, you must declare your occupation and employer.
   
• Memberships, contributions or gifts to The Suncoast Stonewall Democrats, Inc. are not deductible for federal income tax purposes.

* Couples must reside at the same address.
